The class ADOdbLoadBalancer is the parent class for the ADOdb Load Balancer plugin. Its primary function is to manage database connections that have been accumulated via instantiations of the ADOdbLoadBalancerConnection class, and intercept calls made through an ADOdb database connection.

$db = new ADOdbLoadBalancer;

Note that the class cannot itself create a database connection. The connection is made through the ADOdbLoadBalancer class

$db = new ADOdbLoadBalancer;
 
$db0 = new ADOdbLoadBalancerConnection($params.....)
$db->addConnection($db0);
 
$SQL = "SOME SQL Statement";
$db->execute($SQL);

The load balancer provides a drop-in replacement for the newADOConnection method, and supports the execution of all commands in the ADOdb library.
